May 30th, 2013- Man Guide to Sunglasses

Gentlemen, behold the ultimate guide to sunglasses. Do you wish you knew which shades to where when? Above you'll fine every glass for every occasion. The heritage rocker is for the classic Ray Ban lover. If you're more festival fabulous, go with a bold, square look. For the retro lovers out there, the Gregory Peck, circular style. The same look in a smaller version is great for the studios look. The two aviator styles above are for men of a particular style and face shape. Read the details above to find the low-down on your favorite style.

May 21st, 2013- Celebrity T-Shirts Male Edition

Celebrities are just like real people. They like their shirts just as much as the next guy. The shirt could be a favorite band, goofy slogan or social statement. Either way, celebrity men love their graphic t-shirts. Funny man Tracy Jordan likes to play off his cocky character from 30-Rock in his short choices. David Beckham prefers to represent the more heavy themed shirt for metal band Iron Maiden. Jamie Foxx represented a cause he believes in at the MTV movie awards to raise awareness of the Trayvon Martin shooting and racism. Here are some more male celeb shirt trends:

Funny

These guys have us cracking up with their shirt designs. Respected actors that are constantly approached about their roles in cult classics like to make a statement to those harassing them: we're over it. Russel Brand and David Hassel Hoff also enjoy their humor shirts by playing off words and making the viewer consider their messages.

Nerd Chic

Nerd chic became popular around the early 90s. The rise of the nerd started with shows like Freaks and Geeks and with bands like Weezer. The comedians above love their weird science shirts. A small alien, a gym class shirt and a periodic table of elements makes these stars cheeky and fun.

Band Shirts

Band shirts will never go out of style. Justin Bieber prefers to wear the lyrics of Cee Lo Green where Jason Segel and Terrance Howard like to show the faces of the bands that inspire them. Check out the EW interviews for the reasoning behind their love.

Positive Message

Just as female celebrities show the causes they support, male celebs like to spread a positive message. Matthew Mcconaughey and Lenny Kravitz like to put a positive spin on life and show fans to think positively and to be thankful for what you have. Jamie Foxx, as stated earlier, showed his support in the face of tragedy last year for the sake of justice.

Bro Love

Last but not least, don't forget about the bro love t-shirts! Singers and actors love to show their support for certain other bros. The first shirt being ironic because Tom Felton plays the most hated character in the Harry Potter series: Draco Malfoy. Nate Henn created the movie Invisible Children which shows this singer songwriter supports the cause and indie film documentaries. Choose a favorite to sport a trend above.

May 20th, 2013- Men's Billboard Music Awards Fashion

The Billboard Music Awards are just as meaningful for the male performers as the female performers. So why not give equal attention to men's fashion? This year, basic and fun was the order of the day. Basic ensembles and black leather made for the majority of the fashion statements on the blue carpet at this year's awards ceremony.

Black leather was the main fashion item for the weekend. Wiz Kahlifa and Chad Kroger wore black on black with a leather jacket overlay. This look is perfectly casual for the event but the color is still classic and formal. These men looked great next to the ladies in black. G. Eazy, David Guetta and Justin Bieber also loved the leather look. Leather detailing, a jacket or vest is great with jeans or a plan black bottom.

Basic is best was a good rule of thumb for these musicians. Jason Derulo made the best dressed list on countless blogs and TV shows for his guns and casual, sexy style. Ed Sheerhan and Will.i.am showed their true styles in basics as well. Ed clearly is laid back and prefers jeans and sweaters where will.i.am tends to enjoy basic suits and flashy accessories.

A pop of color was also a popular idea among these performers. Korean sensation Psy perfromed on stage but wore this suit jacket with pink cuffs earlier in the night. Mike Tyson loved his blues for the overly casual evening and a red vest was the perfect addition of color to the most plain white t.

The trick to these events is walking with your band. If you're a male in a band, the worst thing you can do is be too matchy matchy. You don't want to look like a 90s boy band. Florida Georgia Line looked like a band with their causal jeans and chains but mixed up a vest and jacket to look like individuals as well. The Band Perry was slightly more formal with complimenting colors and jackets to compliment the formal gown of their front woman.

As far as the What Not To Wear list, the America's Got Talent dance crew the Jabbawokeez take the cake. Their weird masks and Power Rangers typer suits were tacky and weird. Chris Brown was not quite as bad as them, but his shirt was still too cluttered and distracting. For a list of winner, visit our main page!

April 24th, 2013- Business Casual

At one point or another, every man has heard the word "business casual". But what does this mean? Business casual is hitting the mark between a professional, well dressed style, and a casual weekend outfit. But which items are you allowed to mix and match to create this perfect duo? Check out some of the advice below to find the perfect blend.

The first rule of business casual is to never wear tennis shoes. Sneakers are never allowed in the office, not even on casual Friday.  Wear Oxford shoes or loafers for foot attire. Ties are optional in this kind of attire but socks are a must. A watch is a great accessory and the button down shirt is the ideal top for any of these looks. Belts are optional but encouraged.

Business causal is perfect for date night, networking events and pretty much any night out. You can mix it up with a casual blazer but avoid wearing a coat with a tie. This look is overly formal. Plain slacks in navy, khaki or black are a great pant option. You can even invest in a pair of corduroys for this look.

A big part of the business casual look is well tailored and well ironed clothing. Looking pressed is a big plus to ladies. It shows you have good hygiene and take care of your personal belongings. Compare the left side to the right side. Always iron your shirt before going out. It takes five minutes and makes a world of difference.

Check out GQ's guide on how to do business casual. They have some amazing tips that are well worth a  read. You will be able to select shoes, bags, shirts and accessories that match the right look for you. If all else fails, you can video chat your mom or sister and ask their opinions. Now go get your business casual on.

April 5th, 2013- Steal His Style

Flattery is the sincerest form of flattery; at least that's what our parents told us when our little brother or sister copied us. But in fashion, this statement has deeper meaning. The best way for a fashion-lost male to find his way in the world is to imitate someone else who has their style together. We, as people, love to find looks that celebrities have worn and find a more affordable version to emulate our favorite stars. This is no different for everyday men's ware. The next 6 celebrities are great fashion icons to borrow style trends from.

The first style icon is brought to us by Primer Magazine. Ryan Gosling is the heartthrob making women sweat on and off screen. His casual yet very poised style makes him look classic and handsome 24/7. His navy pants easily transition from day to night and you can never go wrong with a striped button down. If you're not a accessories guy, you can skip the watch and get the entire look for under $200!

The next celebrity style is a little more edgy and rocker chic. Adam Levine, front man of Maroon5 and judge on The Voice, has a casual style all his own. Nevertheless, all styles are for the stealing. His major look consists of a white V-neck and a sweater! You can wear any of your old jeans and dress them up with combat boots and a patterned crochet sweater.

Although Scott Disick is somewhat of an unlikeable character on Keeping up with the Kardashians, his style is nothing but trendy. Scott often wears basic pieces with solid pants. His style is all about the accessoires that stand out. A statement pair of sunglasses, bold shoes or even an ascot make Scott a trend setter. If you're more of a loud dresser, stalk Scott online for some style tips.

Marvin Humes may not be a household name just yet, but his fresh style combined with new success of boy band JLS makes his style prime for the taking. Marvin likes to dress to reflect his English roots. His proper vests, tipped shoes and pea coats make the ladies crazy. This style is for the more formal male.

Another English superstar that has captured the silver screen is Keifer Sutherland. Ironically, his style is very classic American. Casual jeans, plain Oxford shoes and a button down under a sweater completes most of his looks. If you are an older male, this is the style to steal for you!

To contrast the mature style from Sutherland, One Direction's Niall has a younger sense of style that is more hip to the youth generation. Simple black on black with accents of white is a very modern expression of color. Basics are what he's all about. Try it out with a leather jacket and some Nike's in your closet.

March 21st, 2013- The Perfect Shoe

Above is the all telling Gentlemen's Guide to shoes. Unlike department stores, we don't want to inundate you with every different kind of dress shoe known to man! We know that you just want to be comfortable, look flawless and have the right shoe for the right occasion. Listed above are the nine shoes you'll need to know.

1) The Derby- This shoe is mostly worn with a nice suit or tuxedo. This classic shoe is comfortable and is a must have in every guys' closet.

2) The Loafer- One of the most comfortable shoes above, the loafer is casual but transitions well to happy hour. A safe bet for sure, just don't actually put a penny in it.

3) The Oxford- This shoe also looks great with business attire. It is a low top version of The Derby and looks best in traditional black or brown. Lately, more vibrant colors have been seen on this shoe.

4) The Chelsea- It takes a bold man to wear this shoe. Usually seen in cities, this shoe is a bold luxury.

5) The Wingtip- This is a fancier version of The Oxford. Only use if you have the swag and confidence to pull it off.

6) The Monk Strap- This shoe is rather unique and unusual. It leans towards casual uses.

7) The Brogue- Often compared to Doc Martins, this heavy shoe is for rugged jean-wearers.

8) The Desert- This shoe is for the guy who is stylish and likes to make a statement. Often worn is loose corduroys, this look is hard to pull off.

9) The Boat- Or "Sperry". Every guy needs a pair even if you're not boating. Extremely comfortable and versatile, you can't go wrong with this weekend shoe.

Now go shopping, armed, ready and informed about your shoes.

February 25th, 2013- Men's Oscar Fashion

There is no man more sought after than Oscar himself. The tiny gold statue will always be best dressed at this event no matter who shows up in which designer, but the men can try. Actors cleaned up nicely for the event wearing custom tailored suits and ties. Here are some of the trends for men from this weekends' Academy Awards.

Full suit and bow tie was the style for this event. Most men showed up in all black suits and formal dress shoes. There were the occasional outliers like Tim Burton and Samuel Jackson but for the most part, these gentlemen cleaned up well. Specifically Eddie Redmayne from Les Miserables impressed fashionistas everywhere by looking smashing in an Alexander McQueen suit.

The men of the Avengers also looked stunning as they presented an award last night. Robert Downey Jr. wore an off kilter look as always, sporting a deep blue tie, thick framed glasses and a round shoe. Samuel Jackson wore a plush red jacket that was unique for the occasion and admittedly not his finest fashion moment. The star of the show was Jeremy Renner in a custom Givenchy suit.

One thing is for certain, facial hair was in style for the Oscars this Sunday night. Directors/Producers of the best picture winner Argo, George Clooney and Ben Affleck, wore full beards to the event. Best Actor nominee Bradley Cooper also wore some scruff to the event. Hugh Jackman and Christoph Waltz were also among these men to rock the beard trend.

Bryan Cranston and Jamie Foxx also wanted in on the facial hair trend by rocking a goatee. Although Jamie Foxx was voted worst dressed by many bloggers because of his sequin bow tie, he showed class by selecting a darker suit and taking his daughter to the esteemed event.

Esquire magazine named Chris Pine and Daniel Day Lewis among the best dressed for men. Daniel won for best actor for his portrayal of Lincoln and his blue tux with perfect pocket square really showed his class and taste. Charming Chris Pine wore a Ermenegildo Zegna suit and shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo to impress the crowds. Host Seth Macfarlane and opening guest Joseph Gordon Levitt also looked chic in their tailored black bow tie ensembles. Finally, Hugh Jackman stole the show by performing live in his Tom Ford suit. Take a note from these actors and dress accordingly.

February 19th, 2013- Stylish Presidents

As President's Day weekend has passed, we all took some time to think about our great leaders that have truly influenced our country as we had the day off from work. What did we think about? Well, their style of course? Mens' fashion has always been a factor while voting leaders into office whether people admit it or not. Republicans wear red, Democrats wear blue and each camp has its own stylist to help them win over America. So who comes to mind when you think of stylish presidents? These top 4 men really jazzed up the White House.

Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan was the 40th president of America and the first president of the 80's. Before this, this Californian was a television actor! His charm and good looks got him into office and won the hearts of many. At different times he was both a Democrat and a Republican.
This president won our fashion hearts by being the all American boy. He dressed as though he was a down to earth cowboy, even in office. He traditionally sported jean jackets, button down shirts and sometimes even a cowboy hat. His perfectly thick combed hair was a perfect accessory to his relaxed style. This preppy cowboy was definitely a White House trend setter.

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton was remembered not only for balancing the budget but for his extramarital affairs with Monica Lewinski. Clinton took office in 1993 and the now 65 year old political powerhouse will forever be remembered for his best line, "I did not have sexual affairs with that woman." Although Clinton resigned for misconduct, he always managed to look dapper on camera (note the pink tie).

This presidential playboy had an addictive style that made him desirable to women in the U.S. Even today Clinton is thought of as a sex symbol. A love of animals, Clinton liked to sport khakis, comfy sweaters and baseball hats. His smile and lack of hair part made him infamous for a casual, fun loving man.

Barack Obama

Barack Obama is our current president. He is not only the first African American president but the first to hold office from Hawaii. His smile, love of family and liberal politics will make this president infamous as he has won over countless democrats in America. Typically seen wearing blue, Obama has a style all his own.

Obama does casual extremely well. His rolled up sleeves and lack of ties make him seem approachable to the masses and relateable to many. On the weekends, he is seen as very active, often participating in sporting events with his family. Obama sports jeans, baseball hats and Northface gear with his tennis shoes.

John F. Kennedy

The most fashionable president by far is John F. Kennedy. The romantic time period in which he took office was one of style, grace and poise. Marylin Monroe and Jackie O were two of the women who set the stage for fashion and this 60's president didn't let them have all the spotlight. Although he was only president for three short years until his assassination, this man looked the part and then some.

Not only did he wow voters in a navy suit and tie, this man looked perfect around the clock. His New England roots and style impressed not only his own part, but the Republicans as well. JFK was beloved by many and was perceived as a family man who loved the ocean. He was often pictured in sailing attire or relaxing in slack on Cape Cod with his family. Once he wore Ray Ban wayfarers, the whole world wanted some. Don't forget to honor the men who dedicate their lives to manage our policy and look damn good doing it.

February 12th, 2013- Grammy Fashion

The stars shimmered out on Sunday night. At the Grammy Awards the men came close to outshining the women on and off stage in their fabulous attire. Tom Ford suits and black bow ties wowed the crowds this weekend for a night of male fashion. Here are some looks to love and hate:
Chris Brown, LL Cool J and Wiz Khalifa all had the same idea when walking down the red carpet: white. The white jacket was a sexy look for the music awards and made these men stand out in a crowd. A white jacket is ideal because it can be worn with both black and white pants. The black bow tie dresses up the look and you can look formal alongside a leading lady.

Black and steel grey suits were also a popular look at this weekend's awards. Justin Timberlake looked flawless as always in his finely tailored suit and Jennifer Lopez's beau looked equally as dashing without a necktie or bow. Even DJ Skrillex wore all black to the event although was far too casual for the high pressure event. The band Maroon 5 looked adorable in their matching all black attire hitting the mark between matchy-matchy and perfect.

Gentlemen, feast your eyes on perfection. The men above nailed it in their tuxedos above. John Legend, Drake and Trey Songz looked dapper in their suits for the weekend. The matching jacket and pant suit on all three men looked amazing with a dark, or light shirt. The bow ties and tapered hair lines make the ensembles complete.

The looks, however, went from good to bad to worse. The looks above are in question and down right offensive. Sting, Will.I.Am, and Mario Lopez aren't at bad as the looks below but they still missed the mark. If Sting lost the scarf, Mario changed the suit color and Will.I.Am toned the detailing down, they may have saved their outfits. The looks below are the most heinous. John Mayer needs saving and guys, never wear sneakers and a zip-up to a Red Carpet event. Keep a look out for the Oscar attire coming soon!

February 6th, 2013- Dress Like Bond

There is not a man alive who doesn't know who James Bond is. 007 is a notoriously snappy dresser who gets all the ladies with his incredible taste and confident manner. If Bond was a real person, what would he dress like? Now, there's no need to wonder.

When James goes to dinner or dresses up his suit is usually: Midnight Blue, One Blazer Button, Single Breasted, and either Wide or Peaked Lapel. He always has jetted pockets and usually wears 4 cuff buttons with no vents. Finally, his pats are flat fronted and matched his suit. Bond has been a trend setter since the 60's!

When Bond is in the city, he still remains to look sharp without overly formal. Usually he adorns a charcoal grey Brioni suit with a Turnbull & Asser shirt completed with a Tom Ford tie. A nice watch, Calvin Klein briefs and a high class belt show Bond is not a cheap dresser. His socks are always the appropriate length and he wears black dress shoes. He occasionally has an attache case, aviators and a coat or hat for spying.

For more casual afternoons of training or undercover work, 007 goes casual chic. He wears a vintage leather jacket or high end cardigan with a V-neck shirt. Brown accessories and a very expensive watch round out the look and he always wears tailored trousers. Brown boots or short beach shorts occasionally make an appearance,

When Bond is on the road, he must be ready to spring into action and jet-set at a moments notice. For this purpose, he usually carries a gun with his sports jacket, polo shirt and pressed jeans to escape a hunter. Bond wears a sporty shoe without it necessarily looking like a sneaker. James needs a suitcase and his Aston Martin keys for his getaway car to make this ensemble complete.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, not to fear! Bond isn't always perfect. The three looks above are his major fashion faux pas. Never wear a "playsuit" a ruffled shirt or powder blue suit gentlemen. Even Bond can get it wrong at times.

January 29th, 2013- Men's SAG Award Fashion

Don't think we forgot about your fashion at the SAG Awards, gents. Men strutted their stuff on the red carpet alongside their actress colleagues. Hugo Boss, Burberry, Prada and Tom Ford all dressed these stars to the nines. Black suits, ties and shoes look stunning on these stars.

Best Ties

It's no surprise that Bryan Cranston and John Hamm have two of the best looks at the SAG awards. These black ties look chic for the big event and are perfectly formal. Hamm wore a Brioni tuxedo and the other two looks are just as fabulous. You can never go wrong with black and white.

Best Bow Ties

We loved Aaron Paul and Bradley Cooper's look at the SAG awards. They along with the featured 30 Rock comedian, all rocked the formal bow to the event on Sunday. The classic bow looks stunning with a pocket square or a classic traditional tuxedo. Aaron took a risk wearing blue and black but the risk fully paid off.

Boldest Looks

There were some risk-takers at the SAG Awards this weekend. Justin Timberlake wore a Tome Ford suit that had stripes galore. The newly-wed landed on best and worst dressed lists from the media this week. The Glee hottie work a gingham shirt and navy suit and tie which was criticized by the masses. However, Ty Burrell's black fleece tux and repp tie made the actor look like he should be sitting at the Mad Men cast table, and that's a good thing. His funky tie was a hit with the media.

Best Tailoring

Neil Patrick Harris and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were among the best dressed. Neil's character on How I Met Your Mother is known for his flawless taste in suits and it shows that NPK has learned a thing or two from his character Barney Stinson. Jesse Tyler Ferguson was one of the winners in the Modern Family Cast and he looked stunning in a black suit and skinny tie.

Worst Dressed

Chris Tucker and Eddie Redmayne missed the mark on this red carpet. Redmayne went heavy on the velvet, and goes into lounge singer territory in this brown tailored Boss two-piece. Chris Tucker's bow tie looked sloppy and his blue suit looked sloppy. Read more here at GQ!

January 28th, 2013- Spring Preview

Gentlemen, Groundhog day is approaching this week and this means you need to start preparing for Spring 2013. That's right; you should get all your purchasing out of the way to look flawless in these upcoming months. Lucky for you, New York Fashion Week has you covered. These looks don't immediately transfer from runway to street ready but you can look for some inspiration from these designers to pick out your ensembles in department store brands.

Hermes is an amazing label to study. Their high fashion and extremely wearable looks are perfect for almost any occasion. They make shoes very masculine and versatile for day or nighttime looks. Navy was their go to color during the show and they loved to match or mix the color. A looser fitting pant with Oxford shoes and a casual jacket is the perfect look for spring.

Marc Jacobs likes more cutting edge fashion. Pinstripes are the look for spring according to this designer. You don't need a full suit of matchy-matchy pinstripes, but you can mix your vertical and horizontal stripes for a current look. If you are unsure about mixing two striped looks, you can stick with one or the other and match a solid to counterbalance the stripes.

Lanvin wanted to show you a casual side of their line. The casual pieces surround their work appropriate suit complete with slender tie. A looser fitting button down or a chunky sweater with rolled sleeves look great with black bottoms. Finally, we learned that flip flops with shorts and closed toe shoes with pants is the rule of the hour for the new season.

Prada loves the navy look for spring. Spring is a lighthearted season where the flowers start to bloom and women start to bring out their floral dresses. Black may be too severe for attire during this season. A structured navy suit is the perfect compromise for the upcoming months. Just be sure to avoid pairing black with navy.

Givenchy is more for the man willing to take risks with his clothing. Available at high end department stores, this brand is known for it's daring construction and statements. The chunky flip flop with the pant suit is a risk that doesn't translate well into the workplace but the fit of the pants and jackets are fabulous. January 22nd, 2013- The Perfect Lenses

There is nothing sexier than a confident male on the beach with the perfect shades having fun in the sun. Want to live up to this fantasy? Easy. All you have to do is find the right frame for your facial structure. Some men don't know how to select shades that look good on their face. This how to guide will help you solve this issue.

Round

A round shape is the most common facial shape. The rounded shape lends itself to a square frame. Since you have no pointed shapes on your face, you want to break up the round look. Aviators and wayfarers add definition and shape to your face.

Oval

An oval face is long and lean. This shape is lucky because you can wear almost any frame! You just want to be sure that the frame suits the width of your face. A frame that is too wide will look sloppy and make your head to appear small.

Oblong

Oblong faces are a mix of square and round. They give a chiseled feature of a strong jawline. For this shape, you want lenses that are longer than they are wide, much like Kanye. You also want to avoid sharp shapes to balance your strong facial features. Rounded edges are best in this case.

Square

A square face is very much a Johnny Depp look.  You want slightly rounded or curved frames for this facial structure. Your face has sharp edges so sharp, angular sunglasses or reading frames may look too harsh on your face. A big Aviator would look great on you.

Heart

A heart shaped face is an unusual facial structure. Your head is top heavy and you usually will see a great deal of forehead in this instance. You want square frames here to balance out your girth and thin chin. You proportions don't look proper with detailed frames or teardrop styles.

Diamond

Diamond shaped faces are also lucky in the glasses department. You can wear almost any shape as long as you avoid the extremes. Lenses that are deeper than they are wide look great with your facial structure.

Triangular

Last but not least, angular faces also must follow a compensation rule. Since the bottom of your face is wider than the top, you'll want big, heavy frames to add more girth to your forehead. Top-heavy frames, teardrops and square lenses look great with your facial structure. Head into a Sunglass Hut and make an informed purchase today!

January 16th, 2013- Facial Hair

Facial hair is an extremely important part of male fashion. A good beard or mustache can make or break a look. A five o'clock shadow can be handsome or scraggly depending on the occasion. You need to consider which type of facial hair looks best with your facial structure and personal sense of style.

Celebrities like British sensation Robert Pattinson use their facial hair to their advantage and know when to grow. For suit and tie events, it is always smart to get a close shave. You clean cut style can be ruined by a messy and careless looking face. For more casual days, a little scruff can look rugged and handsome.

These two celebs followed suit! A little stubble with a tie or bow tie is forgivable but never go grizzly when trying to impress. The best tip from the pictures above is to always keep your neckline clean and shaven! Neck hair makes any man's beard look messy or even dirty! Keep that beard under control like John Hamm.

A good beard can make or break a man's look. For the Napoleon Dynamite actor, the beard is sexy and esteemed. Beards hands down make men look more mature and worldly. A beard shows a woman that you can fulfill a very manly stipulation and makes her think you can "man up" in every sense of the phrase. However, if your facial hair is unkept, women are prone to think you're lazy. Some men look better with facial hair! Try the Paul Rudd for a transition picture to decide which is a better look for you!

There are a plethora of facial hair types to try! Some are serious and others can be quite ironic but definitely make you more approachable for conversation starters. Classics like the soul patch, anchor, and the hollywoodian are often found on the more traditional facial hair supporters. You can mix it up wit a fu man chu or handlebars for some ironic hipster fun!

Whichever you choose, you should always be aware of the hair stereotypes that follow. Too short mustaches can give off a Hitler regime feel and a pointy one says "butler". Everyone tends to associate a full, thick mustache with Tom Selleck or Walter Cronkite and the longer you get the closer to grandpa or wizard you tend to look! Sticking to the standard fuzz is widely recommended.

The images above are a friendly reminder that good hair grooming is everything. You can immediately go from goon to gentleman with a simple haircut or facial his change! Keep these hilarious double take images in your head next time you're in front of a mirror and take a razor to your face. Keep is classy guys.

January 15th, 2012- Rolled Sleeves

Calling all gentlemen! Roll up those sleeves because it's hot. When you wear a button down shirt and you want to hit that perfect mark between casual and formal, you can roll your sleeves to look casual and collected. The button down look can be too stuffy for a bar or casual occasion. The rolled sleeve makes it the perfect day to night look.

Even the presidential nominees roll those sleeves up to make them more relateable. Although they look professional on the campaign trail, they cuff their sleeves and roll them up to look casual and cool. However, if you roll your sleeves too high you'll look far too southern and on the slightly nerdy side. Right above your elbow is the perfect day time roll. If you roll too little you run the risk of looking sloppy.

The simple roll is the easiest way to start your rolling. First, unbutton the cuff of your sleeve. Next, You want to fold the cuff up so that it is the width of the cuff itself and then tuck it under until your desired effect.

The best item to do this trick on is the plaid button down. Depending on the fabric, flannel or cotton, you should roll in different ways. The most effective way to roll these sleeves is to roll your cuff up to the desired length and then roll from the underside up so that it doesn't fall flat or some undone.

This master roll is for the rolling professionals. Unbutton, fold your sleeve up to the length you desire and then roll the sleeve from the bottom up at the width of your regular cuff. If you find that your sleeves keep rolling down, try the style tip above and safety pin your sleeve for security. Follow the steps below for a gentle reminder on how to!

January 5th, 2013- Toggle Jackets

Toggle details are handsome for this winter. A toggle is a fastening on your clothing connected by rope or thick leather and loops through. This very nautical look is best on coats, jackets and sweaters. It is a preppy fashion and reminds people of the gentlemen near the sea.

This look is great for day or night and is easily transitioned from the office outerwear to a bar with friends. This very masculine look is trendy and also rugged. The fashioning of the jacket looks relaxed whether the toggles are fasted or left undone.

Toggle sweaters are the more casual look for this trend. Toggle fastenings usually come in a set of three or a single toggle. You can let them loose for warmer days or bundle up with a scarf and long sleeves. These tops look great with jeans, khakis or even white pants.

The two best looks for the toggle accent are navy and khaki sweaters. The navy is inspired by the nautical sense of the oceanic lifestyle. Navy is a solid color that looks great on any skin tone and can be formal or casual. Lighter toggles stand out against the dark color palette. Khaki is a preppier look for the toggle overcoat. You can have light rope or dark leather for the fasteners and both look great! This look should be worn with jeans or dark pants.

For the more retro and bolder dressers, the toggle look can be found on an array of jacket colors and styles. Bright blues and greens look good for a man with a daring and funky sense of style. Brighter colors pop during those dull winter months. Print jackets are also available with this preppy accent! Shop at J. Crew. and Banana Republic for styles above!

December 18th, 2012- Suit Tailoring 101

How are you supposed to navigate the suit world alone? With so many cuts, fabrics and tailoring options it can be overwhelming. Lucky for suit wearers alike, we have the ultimate guide for suits. You'll learn what to expect at each appointment, fabric patterns, fabric pros and cons and cut and style tips if you read on!

For your first fitting, you must choose your style, cut, color and fabric complete with measurements and pictures of how it fits. You will then go back for a second appointment for your skeleton base. You will then need to book a third appointment, always in advance, and complete your second and third fitting in a final appointment. A custom suit can take 8-10 weeks to create so plan ahead!

The six most popular fabrics are listed above. Houndstooth is usually a warmer fabric and is very flashy. Herringbone is usually associated with prestige and even professors! Pinstripe and Windowpane Check are also a more formal and louder prints than traditional fabrics. Twill is the most popular.

Above is a comprehensive list of fabric Pros and Cons. Wool is by far the most recommended fabric but is a pain to clean. Cotton is the next most popular fabric and is low maintenance and looks great. Linen and Microfibers are close third places but beat out Polyester. The higher quality the suit, the more expensive the fabric will be but it will also last longer and be ready for more wears. Higher twist wool is the best of the best.

Last but not least you must consider a proper cut for your style. American, British and European cut suits are all different and have been previously written about on this section. You must consider vents, waist line, pockets and shoulders for your body shape. Vents will be more comfortable and let you move more easily and flap pockets make the look more casual. Padded shoulders are more formal and a tapered or cinched waist looks best because it is more form fitting. Be sure nothing is too long or too short when you have your suit tailored! No matter what, be sure your comfortable, confident and make sure your suit matches your style. Being you is the best thing you can do for a suit.

Yellow is also a show stopping color. The sunny yellow shows you are a cheerful person. This color can be quite a distraction if it is too vibrant. It enhances concentration so the interviewer will likely retain what you're saying!

Green shows your eco-friendly side. It is soft on the eye and is also the subtle color of money! It is masculine and conservative. This shows you are a man ready to do business.

Blue is also a very popular color. It is peaceful and tranquil like the sky or ocean. Brown is a trusty color. It's earthy and natural so it implies genuineness and stability. You will seem more approachable if you are wearing brown and it promotes communication! Now get dressed for success with these tips in mind!

November, 7th 2012- Corduroy

Corduroy is great for Fall fashion! Cords are warm, fashionable and conformable for male fashion this season. This fabric comes in an array of patterns and clothing items. Pants, jackets and shoes are trendy and comfortable for current fashion. You can select cuts and colors that work for you.

The corduroy jacket is a staple in any male wardrobe. The tan color is the most popular by far and very versatile. You can wear this item with jeans, colored pants or more corduroy! The look is comfortable and casual but also has a formal flare to it. You can wear this to a game with jeans or cocktail hour with friends. The sports coat in the more casual fabric is ideal for day-to-night attire.

Dark cord jackets are great for this upcoming season as well. Deep brown and royal blues are great for dinner attire. Their velvet and corduroy material makes them look formal without looking too much like a suit blazer. The pockets are great for small wallets and keys. You can wear this item with button downs or vests.

The corduroy jacket can be dressed up or down. The more casual style is worn with tight jeans or khakis or your choosing. You can wear casual shoes and roll up the sleeves with a T-shirt and fun accessories. For the preppier and more formal look, you can wear pleated work pants and oxford shoes to complete your look. Make sure to wear a collared shirt and sweater to really finish off your style.

Khaki colored corduroy pants are the most popular pant style for this season. You can wear dark tan, washed out and worn in styles and even lighter shades of khaki. You can wear a tight or relaxed fit depending on your personal style and occasion. The cords look best with relaxed T-shirts, causal button downs and cozy sweaters.

Dark corduroy styles are just as trendy for this season. Navy is the most popular color but velvety black is also a classic look. The darker styles look great with flannel or printed tops. You can dress them up or down for work or play. They are best worn looser and are very warm for the colder days.

Lighter colors and funky shades are also popular in corduroy fabrics. Teal and grey are good staples to have in your closet. They look great for casual looks ensembles and lighter days. Either style is fun for Fall. Depending on your confidence, you can take a risk with even bolder colors to liven up the upcoming months! J. Crew, Madewell and the Gap make amazing corduroy styles available in stores now.

Corduroy shoes are also fashionable for Fall and Winter. Toms and similar company Bobs make great flat styles in corduroy that are super comfortable and versatile. Converse also make amazing corduroy inspired sneakers. These shoes are available online and at major department stores.

November 5th, 2012- Gingham Style

Gingham is great for the stylish male. Fall fashions are loving the checker print for these button down T-shirts. This season, gingham is popping up in an unlimited amount of colors and styles. Charming men can wear gingham as a casual or formal look depending on the full ensemble.

The most popular form of gingham is basic, classic black. The button down is a perfect way to rock the checkers in black or dark navy. You can buy a double breasted pocket style or a single pocket for a casual look, or even buy a shirt with no pockets to have a more formal look. You can wear your sleeves rolled up or down depending on the occasion. Jackets and sport coats are available in this swanky pattern as well.

If you want to exude a more formal look, you can pair your gingham shirt with a jacket or coat. Gingham goes beautifully with navy, black or khaki outerwear. You can layer these patterns with a solid coat and sweater for colder weather. Depending on the event, you can wear this classic blazer/gingham combination with ironed shorts and a belt. Pants and pocket squares are obviously more formal but equally as attractive.

Gingham with a plain tie is a staple look for this trend. You can find a variety of complimentary colors to rock this style. Blue gingham looks great with warmer colors to contrast the cool checkers. Black is always a classy option. You can wear a thick or skinny black tie with almost any checkered color. Avoid black with blue but other than that, have some fun with your colors.

These checkered button downs look flawless with khaki. This look is for the confident and casual male. The look definitely has a preppy edge to it and is super versatile for any event, day or night. The khakis make the look dressier and more formal but the gingham shows a fun side to your personality. You can wear this combo to drinks, date night or just a casual afternoon.

For those gentlemen with a more daring style, you can wear gingham on gingham. That's right, patterns on patterns are in for this season. You can find matching tie and shirt checker combinations for this look or search high and low for complimentary colors for mixing gingham. Styles are available at J. Crew and Urban Outfitters.

Lastly, gingham is a very fashionable look for a wedding. Groomsmen have been rocking the look for southern weddings and parties. The classic navy blue looks fun and formal for a barn or outdoor wedding. Even if you're not in the wedding, you can still wear the checkered shirt with a bow tie and look reception ready. Happy shopping boys!

October 24th, 2012- Two Info-graphics Every Man Needs to See

Gentlemen, you should know that fashion is a lot about the minor details. As they say "it's all in the details". After you learned to tie your first neck tie at age nine, you felt you had formal covered. You could not be more wrong. Two major details to a classic formal look cannot be overlooked. Collars and cuffs as well as flying pocket squares can make or break your ensemble. A poorly tucked collar, cuff or hanker-chief can make your outfit look sloppy or even ill-fitted. The good news for you is, we have the two major "How To" info-graphics to improve your abilities.

Collars are of the utmost importance for any ironed button down shirt. There are 12 total collar styles but only 10 are the most important, distinguishable styles. The classic (and classic narrow) is the most standard in shirt collars. The semi spread is a wider version of the classic and the full spread is even wider. These styles are also called the Hidden Button and the Cut Away. The button down is the classic with two extra buttons to attach to the upper chest. This is the most casual for the button down styles. Eyelet and Wing styles are nearing the most formal of collars and can vary in length and button number. The Mandarin (not shown above) is the least common and only is appropriate to certain events. Small Wings, or Wing Up, styles are very formal and look proper buttoned with a tie or bow tie.  The Band and Standing styles reach all the way around your neck in the same height. This look should only be worn with a bow tie.

The graphic above is your go to style guide for any suit. It addresses the six types of cuff styles for your wrists: Square, Round, Angle Cut, 2 Button, 3 Button or French. Depending on your personal style and shirt any of the six are acceptable. However, be sure to make the cuff match or compliment your cufflinks! Once you've selected a number of the collar and cuff combinations, find a lapel, or open V of the jacket, and cut suit that works for you! The Peak and Notch style lapels are the most common. You run the risk of looking like Hugh Hefner if you select the Shawl style. Each differing style suit, English, Italian or American, differs mostly in pockets, vents, waist and shoulder pads. Try on each and see which suits your body type and style!

Pocket squares can be a classy addition to a number of outfits. These squares used to be used to damsels in distress and were mainly offered as handkerchiefs to women in earlier decades; but now, these fabrics are merely for style and decoration. Nevertheless, these pocket squares ad a hint of formal flare to coats for any occasion. You can wear them casually with a V-neck and sports coat or more formally with a button down and matching tie.

There are four folds to achieve pocket square perfection: the Multi-fold, the Square fold, the Triangle fold, and the Puffed fold. All eventually look dashing and some are easier than others. Overall, you want a pointed tip sneaking out from the top of your pocket. Follow the guided steps above to achieve your square perfection. Look more debonaire than James Bond with your new formal style tips!

October 15th, 2012- Real Men Wear Pink

Gentlemen, real men wear pink. It's a fact. October is Breast Cancer Awareness and we want you to show your support by wearing the most manly of colors: pink. No matter what the stereotypes of this color happen to be, stylish men all over the globe have been wearing pink and wearing it well. Celebrities, athletes and rugged gentlemen make pink look sexier than ever.

A-List stars show their fashion sense by rocking pink out casually, on photo shoots, or even to red carpet events. In order to wear the brighter hues and louder styles, you must carry yourself with confidence and have the funky fresh style to pull it off. No one likes a man that isn't comfortable with his own clothes.

The pink button down is the most popular way to wear your pink. Neon and pale colors look dashing on any skin tone. Your pink can be plain or pinstriped depending on your pant. You can wear this style to work and out for drinks after! The lighter styles are more formal because the hot pinks make a blonder statement and are much more courageous. Either style can be worn with a tie or unbuttoned collar.

Pink pants are a perfect way to show your support while looking fashionable. Pale pink pants are great for preppy and alternative styles. Regardless of your personal style, this item can work for you. White T-shirts or white button downs are a great piece to accompany this look. Pink pants can look great with boat shoes or Oxfords depending on the occasion. You can dress them up with a blazer or dress down with a sweater or jacket.

Pink sweaters and jackets are also a great way to show your support this month. A pink blazer is daring and debonair. In order to look sharp, you must make sure it's a nice quality jacket so invest in this purchase. Sweaters are more for day wear but look just as charming!

Not feeling an entire pink ensemble? No problem. You can show your pink in a subtle accessory. A pink bow tie or long neck tie is a great addition to any basic outfit. These items are a perfect way to fit in your pink and look handsome all in one. Show your support today. Be a real man.

Gentlemen, it's time to bear your sole, the soles of your shoes that is. Multicolored oxfords and other formal style shoes are fresh for this season. You add some personal style but maintain a sense of formality. The oxford style has a surprising twist when paired with an unexpected color. You can play up the bottom by wearing the color elsewhere in your outfit or you can keep it plain with your feet carrying the flare.

This footwear looks even better with the more unexpected colors to compliment the tops. Brown and pink styles are great for October to show your support in the fight against breast cancer. You can mix the same color in different shades like the dark blue with light blue soles above. Neon bottoms are always a fine choice if worn with enough confidence and the right outfit.

Oxford styles can be as plain or embellished as you desire. The tipped fronts can actually be a more casual and funky look when worn properly. The two tone oxford shoes are perfect for this trend as well! You have the opportunity for 3 mixed colors or the chance to just play up one. You can also change up the laces to match the soles of you're feeling experimentative. These styles come in an array of colors so choose one that best suits your personal style.

You can even wear a white shirt, jeans and one of the pairs of shoes above and look stylish. Sperry has also taken part in the colored sole phenomena. Whether you're traditional or have more of a funky flare, the colored sole trend has something to offer you. Pick your two colors and go all in. Make your footwear stand out this Fall.

October 3rd, 2012- The Man Bag

Gentlemen, we all know the word "purse" scares you to your very core. But what do you do when you need to carry all your things? Never fear, The man bag is here. We all know a suitcase doesn't translate to happy hour. When you go to work, out to eat or just wander around town, nobody wants overflowing pockets. A new bag is the perfect solution.

Leather is the perfect material for a formal-to-casual bag. These totes are great for work documents or an on the go razor. Bulky pockets are unflattering on anyone. Put your wallet, phone and keys in a manly leather bag to avoid an awkward bulge. These styles are carry only so be sure to always keep an eye out for your bag.

If you feel leather is too formal, feel free to get your bag in a canvas material! A canvas bag with leather trip is just as fashionable as an all leather bag at half the price. Canvas is perfect for messy men. This material can be washed and is more durable than leather. Feel free to throw your bag around and be as rugged as you want.

For the guy on the go, a side satchel is more practical. Your hands are free while all your personal items are close by your side. This style is reminiscent of a traditional briefcase with a twist! Make sure your leather matches any other leather you may be wearing. Pay attention to your shoes gents!

Just like the traditional leather tote, these side satchels look dashing in other colors and fabrics. Try a vintage green with retro hardware or a faded blue leather with multiple pockets. The more unique the bag the better! Just be sure it matches the occasion. For bag-wear, when in doubt, go formal.

For a casual day out, you can never go wrong with a vintage throw back. A neutral tone bag is your best bet for weekend attire. Make sure to wear your bag with confidence, you'll be surprised at how practical one is!

September 28th, 2012- The Sports Jacket... Casual Blazer in Disguise

Gentlemen, it's time to get blazin'. Blazers and sports coats are a must have in your closet. There is a look for every occasion with each coat you purchase. Navy, black and grey are staples for every guy to own. The jacket, when worn with matching suit pants, works as formal attire or, when accompanied by khakis or jeans, can be dressed down for a bar night.

The best and most versatile look is the navy blue jacket. This piece cane be worn with casual, or formal pants for a solid day-to-night look. The sports coat can have either one or two buttons that are  subtle or intricate. Elbow pads are a nice touch to make the jackets smart and sexy. Shop Sneak Outfitters for shopping deals.

The grey jacket is a great addition to your wardrobe. This color is an amazing because it can be worn with jeans and a T-shirt or khakis and a button down. And great news, even a dressier double-breasted jacket can be worn in a laid-back way if you do it with confidence. The fit should be as slim as possible, and feel free to roll up the sleeves, too—get casual!

Tan and neutral colors are also a sexy evening look. If your jacket is lighter, be sure to wear it with dark wash jeans or cords. What's the best part? The jacket you do business in can be perfect for happy hour. It's two outfits in one!

Blazers don't have to be all formal. Work fun patterns and plaids for a hipper look. Plaids can look smart when accompanied by very simple patterns. Make sure to wear an understated outfit if you attempt one of these bolder coats. Check out GQ's Best Sport's Jackets for more tips and buying options.

September 25th, 2012- Emmy Fashion: Leading Men

Guys, don't think we forgot about mens' fashion at the 2012 Emmy Awards this weekend. While the leading ladies are the focus of most of the fashion attention with their sweeping gowns and bold statements, many of the esteemed actors looked just as dashing as their female counterparts. Looks ranged from black on black, to plaid, and then of course, black tie only.

Jon Hamm: Mad Men
The best looking suit there was worn by actor Jon Hamm. This man can wear a suit. He is infamous for always wearing the bow tie and inspired other actors to follow suit this year. Jon Hamm looks good in Giorgio Armani, however, the actor also adorned a point-collar dress shirt, which should have been swapped for a more evening-appropriate wing or spread option.

Aaron Paul: Breaking Bad
Actor Aaron Paul not only wowed the Emmy voters but the fashion crowds as well. He looked dashing in a brown Prada tuxedo. The look was bold because it didn't fit the traditional "black tie affair" look but he definitely got it right.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jared Harris
Other actors too a page out of Aaron Paul's fashion book by straying from the traditional penguin suit look. Ferguson wore a shadow-plaid suit with a plaid bow tie. Although this look is risky and controversial, it makes him stand out as the funny man he is. Harris wore a more classic navy Brooks Brothers suit, which makes him look clean cut and sharp.

Keith Urban
Keith Urban was voted "Best Tie" by Esquire magazine. Esquire said: "Now that the country singer is judging on American Idol, we guess it makes sense that he's getting comfortable in the television world. And prove himself he did, wearing an impeccably fitting suit, long hair that we didn't actually hate, and a great standard necktie that was perfectly in proportion with the rest of his look. Even standing next to the Nicole Kidman — who looked stunning, and is nominated for HBO's Hemingway and Gellhorn — we noticed his neckwear."

Ed Oneill and Ricky Gervais
Ed Oneill and Ricky Gervais were among the worst dressed at the awards ceremony. Oneill's cheap looking silver tie is best suited for a more casual occasion. Gervais "strolled down the press line with sunglasses, a five-o'clock shadow." He left his shirt unbuttoned with no tie, bow or otherwise. These men needed to be sharper.

By far the worst was Tracy Jordan's sparkle, ill-fitted tux for his evening. The actor not only had a terrible fitting suit, but the sparkles were all wrong for an esteemed awards show. For more input and looks check out GQ's coverage and Esquire's article on best and worst dressed.

September 20th, 2012- Scarf Swag

Gentlemen, get ready to be wowed. Scarves are masculine and sexy. That's right! A number of popular music stars and actors have been seen sporting their best scarf game and we love it. The look is tough to pull off but with the right amount of confidence, is great for Fall.

Popular, stylish entertainers like Ne-yo, Lil' Wayne, Chris Brown, Kanye West and Jay-Z all love their warm neck accessory. Lighter scarves, like the bandana, are great for the transition to the colder seasons and are great for making a look more casual.

If you're bolder with your fashion choices, try a brighter, thicker scarf with your outfit. The right amount of color is fun and sexy. This Kanye look is daring and exudes confidence and is definitely funky. Always be sure to pair your scarf with a jacket!

Other stars like John Mayer and Nick Cannon look coffee shop ready with their darker scarves. Black or grey is the safer option for scarf color and can be worn as more formal outwear to evening events. Blending the color of your coat with a scarf is subtle and debonair.

For the winter months, try a patterned scarf with a plaid or striped outline. The stark lines are an amazing compliment to a tweed or leather jacket. Be sure to not go overboard with patterns. Keep it simple with a plain jacket.

Bundling up is easy with a the right scarf. They can be work appropriate and great for casual day wear. Once in the office, be sure to de-scarf but leave the blazer on. The same neck apparel can be paired with a jean jacket or shirt for dates!

A scarf is the perfect way to mix up your old wardrobe! Your clothes will look brand new with this new affordable accessory. Put a scarf over that old white T-shirt and jeans and people will be complimenting you on your new look! Enjoy bundling this season.

September 11th, 2012- What My Feet Wear

Men's shoes are equally, if not more important than women's shoes. Men usually wear less items than women and are less privileged to choice in the fashion world. How does this play out in the realm of shoe shopping? Your decisions are vital! By rule of thumb, you need to make sure your shoes are comfortable and stylish. Dressing up is always better than dressing down, and one good, expensive pair, is better than five cheap pairs of sneakers.

Casual is an important look to maintain. You never want to look sloppy when going casual. Go for a nice leather shoe with a rubber sole. Usually the stitching is on the outer rim for aesthetic value and the shoe laces make the look appropriate for day-to-night use. Try Sperry's for this look.
For a more formal, yet still transferable look, try these Oxford styles from Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, Steve Madden, Nunn Bush, and Kenneth Cole. These styles range from professional to alternative with vibrant colors and fabrics. Available at Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom at affordable prices, this style is imperative for every guy to own.

Oxford's and Sperry's are perfect with jeans, khakis, Dockers and corduroy pants. Perfect for day or night, find one or two dependable pairs and wear to your needs. Happy walking.

September 5th, 2012- Funky Professional

Feeling dull at your day job guys? You now have permission to stir things up. Funky professional is a sexy look for Fall. Pairing your work shoes and blazer with printed ties, button downs, socks or even a funky belt is both workplace and fashionably acceptable. Adding in your own personal style will get you noticed by your boss ... and the ladies.

Polka dots are fresh for next season and perfect for this trend. Showing your stylish, professional and fun side lets people know you're the whole package. Pairing casual pieces with more formal accents is great for the office and a night out. Try suspenders, pin stripes and bright solids all together!

Pocket squares always dress things up and looser khakis are great for this trend. Try softer blues and plaid to make the office fun. Don't forget, for your career, dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Better to dress up than down but never underestimate individuality.

August 28th, 2012- Suspended!

Suspenders are the perfect accessory for trendy males. While suspenders are traditionally worn to more formal occasions under jackets, this style is being brought out from wedding events and onto the streets. Suspenders give an edgy masculinity to your day wear. usually worn over a button down, this accessory can go from day to night very simply.

When accompanied by khakis, converse or even a bow-tie, suspenders are nerd perfection and make a gent look fly. However, they can be made more casual as well. Pairing suspenders with jeans and a cotton Tee can also be very attractive when worn with confidence.

You can try different colors and patterned suspenders with your look. This can be very expressive of your personality. The more classic types go with brown or wear their father's holsters or you can go the more modern route and pick a bright hue.

What's the trick? Never have them too tightly bound. You could go from chic to geek very quickly if the suspenders pull on your pant line. You don't want to end up looking like Steve Urkel.

August 22nd, 2012- Skinny Ties

Skinny ties are ultra fashionable. Stars like Ne-Yo and Drake have been rocking the trend to events and red carpets, making the skinny tie perfect for men. You can make the trend casual for drinks or more formal in white and black colors.

Plaid and other print skinny ties should be matched with plain black or white, whereas a skinny black tie classes up any fun shirt. The look can be worn tight around the neck and loosened for the night-scene.

Women love the trend because it shows you take risks with your style and don't take yourself too seriously. A skinny tie leaves a girl thinking about who you are: fun, professional, trendy, wild? This is a very approachable look.

August 2, 2012- Awesome Look: Seersucker Preppy

-->
Gentlemen it’s time to get even more preppy with the ever so fresh seersucker look! What is seersucker you ask?! In laments terms, seersucker is a material used commonly to make spring and summer clothing. It's a thin, puckered, all cotton fabric and commonly striped or checkered.

This material has been commonly used to make women's clothing, but designers have found a way to achieve a wearable and quite fashionable look for men! It's extremely masculine and because it's so lightweight- who would want to resist?!

Check out a couple of the pictures below to see how some lads have put together this look! It's fun to wear as separates or as an entire outfit! The look I can appreciate the most is from the GQ magazine, where the shoes of choice are some Oxfords! How cute?!

Jackets, pants, shirts and ties are all available in seersucker. A seersucker jacket paired with a pair of regular khakis is a classic look, while seersucker pants and a polo shirt offers a more fun, out on the town look!

The best part of it all: Options!!

Take a page out of Sean Comb’s book and wear the classic black and white seersucker as seen below! Even though you may not be near a beach this season, this look makes you ever so charming for summer!

July 31, 2012- Men Watch!

I adore a well tailored man! A complete metrosexual look is amazing when put together nicely! While some may look at metrosexual in a negative light, there's actually nothing negative about the word! It's essentially just a coined term derived from the words metropolitan and heterosexual, and describes a man who spends a lot of time and money shopping for his appearance! Who wouldn't love to see a man like this?!

Check out a few of my metrosexual faves!

David Beckham.
Mr. Beckham tops my list! I live for Victoria Beckham's wordrobe, so naturally one would already assume that her other half has his closet down packed too! David Beckham serves daily. His look is so effortless and I'm sure that has a lot to do with his look coming off as relaxed as it does. He definitely tops my list as a Male Style Star!

Brad Pitt.
Someone who is not too far behind David in both the looks and wardrobe category is the Mr. Brad Pitt!! He always looks so polished, from literally head to toe! His different hairstyles are always amazing as well!

Kanye West.
Wake Up Mr. West, Mr. Fresh! While he self proclaimed himself as one of the most fashionable men in hip hop, I completely agree! Kanye's style is ... well I can't quite put in words! While it is flashy, I'm sure if I had his platform and story- I'd show off my accomplishments too!

Pharell Williams.
Lots of people don't understand Pharell's style! I won't lie, I sometimes miss the mark as well, however, one thing that can't be deinied is his obvious knowleage and passion for fashion! Not only does he have his own clothing line, he adorns himself in some of the best looks! They are mostly very simple pieces, but the way he puts them together are so crisp and polished. It definitely shows that he puts time into his looks!
