RAWRRRRR!

Whether you're a Tarzan fan, or you just have a wild side, the "Urban Jungle" has arrived!

From Safari prints and faux skins, to fierce tribal patterns reminiscent of the Navajo and Aztec cultures, this wild jungle trend will have you swinging from trees.

In Cosmopolitan’s article, “The Sexiest Fall Fashion,” Cosmo states, “Designers were clearly channeling Cosmo when they dreamed up this season's lust-worthy styles: predatory leopard prints, show-stealing sequins, and a faux fur vest that practically growls.”

Depending on your personal style and the occasion, animal prints can be paired with a bold spark of color or simply worn with neutral accessories and notable booties.

This exotic fashion can be worn in several ways:

-- Are you a king of the jungle? This savage look consists of mixing various primal prints, luminous faux fur, and some sexy reptile scales. This look definitely represents a leader of the pack.

-- Safari Queen? Items like Saharan khaki jackets, cargo shorts and leather sandals can do just that.

-- Maybe you're Tribal Chic? Ethnic patterns with bright batiks, finge and tall wedges are perfect to let your inner warrior shine through.

No matter which you are, be sure to let your inner lion roar this season!

The "OhSoCute" Jean Shirt

If you don't own a jean shirt, stop reading, get your keys, and drive to the nearest shopping center to buy one. Jean and jean looking shirts are the best staple to own for fall. Not only are they comfortable and warm, jean shirts go with a variety of bottoms and can easily transition for an array of occasions. They can be worn layered over thicker items, as a backdrop to bright colors, or with a tiny bottom and high boots. Celebrities and everyday citizens have been upping their jean game.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens loves her jean shirt as does the average lady! This piece is extremely versatile and can be worn in warmer and colder weather. Paired with a black short or black leggings and boots, the button down is casual and trendy!
The perfect way to wear a jean shirt is to pair it with a white or light bottom. Avoid going jean on jean UNLESS the jeans are two different shades. Avoid the "Canadian Tuxedo" at all costs. Pairing the button down with a white short is casual and great or a barbeque or game day. Shimmering sandals or flat shoes are a girly addition and accent bangles or other jewelry you wish to pair with the jean shirt. Warning, if you do the over-sized look, be careful to wear extra girly accessories to offset the bagginess.

A feminine bottom is a must do with a jean shirt. Wearing in style, mint jeans are a more modern twist on the look and when worn with a full skirt the jean button down makes a cute traditional style. Finding skirts or tighter fitting bottoms allows you to wear a looser fitting jean around your top. The jean fabric doesn't breathe as well as other fabrics so don't be afraid to wear shorts or leggings!

The best look for the colder Fall months is definitely a long skirt or pants. Pairing the long sleeve denim with classic black or shit pants is a confident and sexy look. A long maxi skirt is also perfect with jean. However, beware of your color choices and be sure to not wear too much blue on blue. You can't go wrong with white or black!

The denim button down can adapt to you and whatever your style may be! Go pick one up today at Urban Outfitters, Target, and Anthropologie!

Full of Skirts!

By Zoe Katz :)

Welcome back full skirts! We would like to formally greet the 1950s style sensation back into the fashion world! Now with longer hemlines and looser fit, this skirt is quite the option for virtually all body types.

This skirt is also one of the most versatile style options for the season, giving it's many color options, fabric choices and designs; you can go from working woman to weekend diva in an instant! Full skirts offer a wonderful substitute to the classic pencil skirt.

The name of the skirt is it's exact description; this modern aged kilt represents an old fashioned feminine, yet sophisticated look. Think Lucille Ball, meets 2012!

When wearing a full skirt, the waistline is everything. Because of where it sits on the waist, this skirt provides a chance for any woman to pull off appearing inches smaller in an instant! Belts are always a trendy secret for a diminishing waist line with the full skirt as well!

Buying the correct fit in proportion to your height is a necessity:

~ If you are shorter- heels are key. Wearing a hem that lies at or a little below the knee will also lengthen and give your legs a slimmer look.

~ If you are taller- longer pieces with flats will not only show off your legs, but will keep the skirt appropriate.

Put away the mini skirts and break out the classy full skirt for a modern take on the “housewife” style!

Mother Knows Best: The Obama Girls

Many say we get our sense of fashion from our mothers. This is definitely the case for Malia and Sasha Obama. Malia, 14 and a Freshman in high school, is a dead ringer for her mother Michelle, as is her 11 year old sister, Sasha. The two have grown up in the public eye for almost a decade now. Michelle maintains that even though they were raised in the White House and have grown up in the lime-light, they have kept their normalcy and core values. Many political publications, like this article from the New York Times, argue that the girls are merely pawns in a political race in the upcoming election. Whatever your politics may be, there is no denying that these girls have an impeccable sense of style.

The American public has seen these adolescent girls transform into stylish women. From when Barack was sworn in as Senator in 2005, to now, the girls have become keenly aware of their own personal style. They have traded in their baby shoes for high heels. The First family has always been close-knit and it is shocking how much Sasha and Malia have grown as evidenced by these old family photos.

The composite images above are from Obama's first election campaign four years ago. The young ladies' style was age appropriate and darling for political appearances. Wearing matching hues and cuts that flatter their girly shapes, Malia in a thin strap dress and Sasha in a high neck square shaped frock. The viewers can tell mother knows best when it comes to styling. Their color palettes are always matching within the family: blue and purple hues or pink, red and orange compliments. How darling!

The contrast between then and now makes the girls' style changes even more apparent. Although the two sisters have always been fashionably styled by their mother, viewers are starting to see their own personal style and preferences come into play, especially with Malia.

The high school teen is fashionable beyond her years! Wearing blazers, adorable flats and professional blouses give Malia a presidential look that is camera ready. Tights, vests and A-line dresses really pull her look together and give off a very mature impression.

This is one trendy teenager! Malia is always wearing seasonal trends to watch! Polka dots are super cute this season as are floral pants and pale hues! Her shoes are always couture and perfectly fitting for her outfit. At 14, everyone is wondering, what's her secret?

The answer: her mother! Fashion icon Michelle Obama is clearly influencing her daughter's fashion decisions as well as her husbands political ones. Malia is seen here in a purple dress that resembles her mothers while heading to church. For casual wear, both women prefer dark fitted pants and a zipped down jacket. Their Easter garb was adorable wearing very chic white Spring dresses.

The Obama ladies have recently been spotted wearing vibrant colored J Brand jeans! This color pop trend is hot this Summer and Fall. Mixing and matching bright fabrics is the perfect way to show your individuality and style. Pick colors that compliment your eyes, hair or skin tone. The ladies look amazing here.

The ladies look great even when there isn't a photo opportunity. Malia and Sasha's casual day wear reflects the hottest trends in every season. Whether it's a playful color pop pant or a simple white pea-coat, the girls look chic in Fall and Winter fashions.

This most recent image President Obama and his girls was taken Friday and depicts them watching Michelle give her speech at the Democratic National convention. The photograph shows the presence of the very sweet father-daughter relationship in the White House and proves that, even when lounging around at home, the girls know fashion. For more on the Obama girls check out this story on Huffington Post and coverage by ABC News.
