Tantalizing Tulle

Tulle is an amazingly underused fabric! Tulle is usually worn on wedding dresses and high fashion pieces underneath full skirts. Tulle is not being seen on flowing gowns, casual dresses and ballerina skirts wearable off the runway and on other days besides your wedding!

Full skirts are the best way to wear your tulle. Although this fabric is rather dressy, you can make it casual by placing it beneath a skirt. White and cream tulle skirts are super cute for this holiday season. The length can vary depending on your personal style. Long tulle infused skirts are fabulous for the retro classic style and short teacup styles are cheeky and fun. This look works best with heels or wedges.

Fashionistas like Mary-Kate Olsen love the lengthy tulle look. Full dresses can be layered with tulle for a free flowing look. The different colors and layers look doll-esque. For more traditional looks you can find a pleated tulle skirt that is calf length or longer. This look is refined and chic for daywear.

Black tulle is perfect for holiday parties! The fullness of a skirt makes your waist look tiny and your hips look feminine and sexy. The sheer fabric gives the black a flirty edge and has a gothic flare to it. Wearing tulle is red or white accessories is 1960s chic.

Vibrant tulle is also fabulous for full, funky skirts! From high fashion to daytime looks, tulle can be incorporated into almost any wardrobe. The look is definitely more fancy than casual, but with the right accessories, you can dress down this fabric to make is more than wearable. Stripes, basics and lace are all perfect accompaniment to tulle! Shop online at Polyvore for tulle looks today!
