Faux Sure!

Faux fur has been a trend that has been hanging on season after season it seems, and now more than ever! While at one time, it was frowned upon to wear 'fake fur,' these days, you're ostracized for having the real thing! Animal rights groups are on the prowl with their red paint ready to ruin your outfit and your day!

Because of this, designers have all adapted to the faux fur craze! Faux fur is made of synthetic fibers that's designed to resemble real fur! I don't have any pieces of my own, however it is really hot! You can find them everywhere! You don't have to go expensive to go faux!

Guilty Pleasure! Celeb Watch!

My dearest John Legend has popped the question to long time girlfriend Chrissy Teigen! They've been dating since 2007, and he proposed over the holidays! I'm not mad at all, I love John! Went to his concert about 3 years ago and to this day, whenever I hear the songs [ESPECIALLY 'Ordinary People']- it still feels like I'm there! He's touring internationally right now, but I'd love to see him again in concert! His voice is nothing short of amazing!! ... Speaking of! Over the Christmas holiday, I got the chance to listen to a Christmas duet he has with Mariah Carey!! FLAWLESS!! Never would've thought of them two collaborating, but it was great!

America's Heartthrob- Matthew McConaughey also popped the question to girlfriend and Brazilian supermodel [who is nothing short of beautiful!] on Christmas day! Together they share two children, Levi- 3, and Vida- 1! They have been together for 5 years!! I LOVE IT!!

Journal Entry 1: Okay, so I have some of the silliest family and friends EVER- I promise I do! I'm emailing my brother at work and we're talking about company Christmas parties and how some people eat out of the community dips etc, instead of making their own personal plates! Totally disgusting!

I give him one instance of me seeing this recently, he then replies "That’s so gross…I remember this lady did that at my old job…picked up something off the vegetable tray, put it in her mouth and then grabbed something else…. My mouth dropped just like this…check the link…"

Book Guru's

I received this book [The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne] a couple years ago on my birthday and I was like "why did they get me a book? I don't like to read books." It came along with a journal, in which I enjoyed writing, so I began there. It had different questions to see exactly where your head was, to see where you wanted to be and to see if you had the drive to get there all by encouraging positive thoughts. The belief is that positive thoughts bring about positive results! I didn't get it then, but I totally get it now! I recommend this book to EVERYONE! One of those books that FORCES you to listen to yourself, which is one of the hardest things to do sometimes! I realized, [just by doing this blog alone!] that there are a lot of people like me! People who have the potential, but are too scared to even recognize it! Its never too early or too late to realize and act on your purpose! A must read!

                Do you LOVE it or HATE it?!

I'm used to the thicker Jenn, but hey- it doesn't look bad on her! I heard that she had lost weight on the Weight Watchers diet, but now I'm a believer! I ran across these pictures and my jaw literally dropped! She looks AMAZING!! She lost so much weight that I don't even remember the "old" her! What a fantastic way of feeling better of yourself! She has to love it! Its not too too much, she still looks healthy, and I'm sure she feels great! Go J. Hud!!

So, I have an obsession with the Kardashian's! Some people love them, some people hate them, and some people love to hate them! I don't get it though! What's not to like about them?! They're killing EVERYTHING they touch, which is pretty much EVERYTHING! Check out their 2011 Christmas card, they even have a 3D version! Only they would think of this, and I LOVE it!!
                                       
(My favorite things about this pic are: Kourtney's sock with that pump! I've seen this look with cotton baby doll socks, but never sheer ankle ones! Scott [her beau] is killing! After seeing this season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Scott is wayyyy cooler than ever before! I love them as a couple [okay, I'll save that for another post!] Baby Mason- what kid do you know [besides my Jr of course] can pull this off?! Kendall, [the younger sister wearing a dress in the front] is WEARING that dress in the front! Modeling is SO her! She slaughters every shoot she does effortlessly! Lastly, that mama Kris Jenner and father Bruse is SERVINGGGGG!! I LOVE IT!)

Happy Holiday Fun!!

Christmas is definitely one of my favorite times of the year [my birthday and Valentines Day are in the top runnings of course] ... However, this year it has SO much more meaning because of my son Jr! I just can't wait for him to go downstairs and see his toys! He LOVES cars, and all new things! I can say "ohhhh Jr, look at your new hat" and he goes crazy! For us, this year will be so memorable, its kind of like his first Christmas because last year he was only 5 months and couldn't do anything! This year he can run around and have fun, and we both [my beau and I] can't wait!

Will You Burberry Me?!

We recently took family pictures and I couldn't decide what to put my Jr in! It was between a Ralph Lauren cardigan or a Burberry button up! The decision was SO hard because Burberry had switched it up on me! So many new prints and designs, shirt types etc! My brain was going insane! I thought, if they had all these new twists for children, then they def had some for adults! I then decided to look at their men and women collections and LOVED it!! Fall Trends: Lip

What's in this season?! DEFINITELY the ORANGE lip! It's soooo hot and can go with almost anything! "Especially navy" as my MUA [makeup artist] describes! I couldn't agree with her any more! I had my reservations about this, but after seeing it on and seeing how it could be hooked up, it's no wonder why the orange lip is slowly replacing red! And just like red, you have to find your perfect shade, but there is an orange lip for everybody- just as red- you just have to play around with it! Go lighter or darker, but find your shade and rock it!

Had the pleasure to view some new collection pieces that are going to be introduced for the next spring season! These are to die!! I'm such an accessory queen and I've been that for as long as I can remember! Always spent more on accessories than clothes, because to/ for me accessories make your outfit!
