Chanel Logo Chic

The Chanel label is the epitome of fashion. Chanel was founded by French designer Coco Chanel at the turn of the century; she was the only designer to make it on Time's 100 most influential people of the 1900's. The designer was a visionary before, during and after World War II with her chic designs and fragrances that made this romantic era fashionable. Although Chanel died in 1971, her legacy of the brand lives on in infamy.

The Chanel logo has been one of the most popular company insignia used on shirts and tops alike. The two interlaced Cs stand for Coco Chanel and were her trademark in the early 20th century. She later released the infamous Chanel Number 5 scent and the bottle itself was a tribute to design genius. Ever since, the logo and silkscreen images of the bottle have been popping up on T-shirts and sweaters that exhume high fashion. White and black is the classic color combination for this look. A mixture of the logo, the hometown of Paris and the full brand names have been manipulated to make various styles.

Ironic Tees and twists have taken liberties with the Chanel name and look fabulous. Rihanna has sported the trendy "If I were riding a horse I'd be wearing flanel but I'm going to the disco so I wear Channel" shirt that plays off the low fashion of flannel shirts and the high fashion of Chanel with exchanging their spellings. Other companies have taken to placing the perfume bottle right on the shirt or giving Chanel and evil twist.

Chanel sweatshirts are darling for the colder weather. Slouchy styles look great with skinny jeans and girly accessories. Killer Condo is one of the manufacturers of the evil Chanel look. The style is super trendy for Fall and looks fabulous with skinny jeans and a boot. Added accessories gives the look a hint of softness and femininity that is much needed. The ensemble is very ironic and pinky for the more daring types that love high fashion.

If you're more of a colorful dresser then the Chanel tops have something to offer you too! Fun neons and bright colors are adorable with this trend. They are very kitsch and perfect for those casual afternoons. Check out Hudiefly2's Etsy store for more fun affordable Chanel options! Enjoy your high fashion on a budget.
