The Frye Company is one of the oldest operating shoe manufacturers in the United States. The company was founded by John A. Frye in 1863 as a single shoe-making shop in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Frye gained notoriety for production of multiple styles of boots like harness and engineer boots. The Frye family sold the company in 1945 and it was moved from Massachusetts in 1980 later to be purchased by Jimlar Corp. and based is currently based in Great Neck, New York. Today, the company makes an array of shoes, handbags and other leather accessories for men, women and children.

 

Their classic "Pull On" and "Button" styles are extremely popular. They are made from genuine leather and constantly withstand the test of time. Frye's bestsellers will be all over the streets this season and range from $200 to $400. The "Jackie", seen above, is a great classic style to pair with any pant.
