Style Watch: Anna Davern

Anna Davern jewelry is perfect for Spring and Summer. She is our designer to watch for the upcoming seasons. Her jewelry is unique and inspirational. Her individualistic idea is a first for fashion. She combines the high class diamond prints with the back of a Cuban cigar box to create jewelry that is fun and wearable. Anna is an Australian based jeweler that helped found Northcity4.

Anna Davern makes works of art with vintage materials that cost next to nothing! She finds tins, cigar boxes and vintage cardboard to create the backings for her jewelry. Because of the way the gems are printed, they look 100% real when worn. You get all the glam with none of the heavy lifting!

Anna Davern creates jewelry that look like million dollar pieces. Her crystal clear collection is perfect for a gala or a nice night out! Her bright pink and yellow colors are perfect for Spring and great for the warmer weather. You can wear these formally or to a casual day because of the lightweight material!

Now, you too can get the look by creating your own DIY look for way less than the Anna Davern brand! Thanks to DIY website True Blue Me and You you can create the look for less. All you need is some cardboard, the gem print and some jewelry hardware and you're all set!

SwellMayde created this look for under $10! Here is everything you need to know:

Materials:
- 1 large sew-on rhinestone (similar here, here, and here)
- 4 large jump rings
- chunky chain
- large lobster claw
- wire cutter

Steps:
1. Cut two lengths of chain using the wire cutter about 2.5 to 3".
2.  Add a jump ring to one end of each cut chain.  Before closing the jump ring, also loop the jump ring through the holes in each each of the large rhinestone.
3. At the end of one of the chains, add one jump ring.  At the other end, add one jump ring and a lobster claw.

Now go get your own version of Anna Davern's look!
