Revamp Your Shoes

If it were up to any girl, we would all have unlimited money to buy designer shoes, like the ones above,  for every single occasion. But sadly, we live in a world where reality is a very real thing. Instead, we have to be thrifty by purchasing shoes that mostly go with every dress and scrape our pennies together when we really want a pair of amazing pumps. Now, there's a way in which you can get the best of both worlds! By editing your old shoes, you can turn them into works of art worthy of any dress.

The first way we can edit our shoes is to add a shoe clip! These sequin hearts make these very basic nude heels perfect for Valentine's day or a fun night out! The best part is, the clips are removable so if you want to return to the original nude pumps, this no commitment edit is perfect for you. Check out the full tutorial here.

The next look is inspired by fashion designs by Miu Miu. This simple rhinestone addition makes these heels a show stopper. All you need is craft store gems and some fabric glue to create the look. This look works on any heel in any color. You can do simple white gems or colors to your heart's desire. Follow the instructions on this blog

These disco wedges can pump up the fun with their sparkling effects. All you need here is some glitter, glue and tape to transform your pumps! The best part about this look is people rarely notice your wedges until you've sat down. The black on top still looks professional and plain for your ensemble but from the side it's all party!

Glitter 'N Glue has a fabulous celebrity inspired shoe edit that punches up your ankles. All you need is some rhinestones or old pins to fasten to your ankles to complete this look! Find complimentary colors to tie the look together or choose wild neons to make your shoes fun.

You don't only need to edit your heels! Ballet flats can be turned into chic feminine objects with the simple addition of a bow. All you need is thread and a fabric thick enough to make a darling foot bow. During your spring cleaning, save your shoes to create new masterpieces!
